Stage 2 — Get Users

SEO quickstart

The minimum SEO setup that compounds over months.

AI skill: /seo-quickstart
  1. 01

    Technical foundations (one session)

Unique title + meta description on every public page. OG image (1200×630) for sharing. Canonical URLs. sitemap.xml submitted to Google Search Console. robots.txt blocking only authenticated/internal routes.

Tip: Google Search Console is free and essential. Without it, you're flying blind on what Google thinks of your site.
  2. 02

    Keyword map

Identify 10 keywords across three buckets: problem ("how to [do what your app does]"), alternative ("[competitor] alternative"), category ("[tool type] for [audience]"). Use Google autocomplete and "People also ask" — no paid tool required.

  3. 03

    Use-case pages (highest ROI)

Create one page per specific use case: /use-cases/[audience]-[job-to-be-done]. Each page answers "how do I [use case]" with your product as the solution. 400–600 words. One H1 matching the keyword.

  4. 04

    Comparison pages

One page per major alternative: /alternatives/[competitor-name]. Captures high-intent searchers already evaluating options. You don't need to "win" — just be present in the decision.

  5. 05

    llms.txt for AI search

Add public/llms.txt describing what your product does in plain English. AI search engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) increasingly surface products from these files. Allow AI crawlers in robots.txt (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot).

Tip: AI search is growing faster than traditional search for product discovery. llms.txt takes 30 minutes and pays back in GEO citations.
